Specialty Treatments

Combination work:

Acupuncture and Core Synchronism: This is one of our signature treatments. Taking the balancing effect of acupuncture and blending it with the harmonious effects of Core Synchronism, really leaves you with a grounded, put together feeling.

Bodywork:

Shiatsu: Originating in Japan, this literal "finger pressure" technique uses slow, vertical, steady, firm pressure with intent to calm the sympathetic nervous system and tonify the parasympathetic. The two basic concepts of Shiatsu are: Kyo (seen as the origin of health and structural problems), an area that feels depleted of energy and Jitsu, an area of excess energy. Balancing the Yin and Yang aspects of the body will increase vitality to all the meridians and overall strength of your body. This treatment is a blend of the two major Shiatsu techniques.

Back Treatment: Chronic back pain with little relief from modern treatments? This modality applys famous osteopath Dr. Randolph Stone's techniques by manipulating the soft tissue of the posterior and anterior sides of the core body, in an effort to restore a balanced distribution of energy in the back. Incorporates Polarity and Cranial Sacral techniques.

Whiplash Treatment: Whether you've been in an accident or you just have a stiff neck, this technique can help relieve a compressed cervical spine. It begins by detailing the muscles along the anterior and posterior cervical vertebra and allows the spine to elongate through coccyx stimulation. A balanced flow of energy through the spine will allow healing to take place. This technique combines Core Synchronism, Polarity Therapy and Swedish massage. Please allow 75 minutes for this treatment.

Treatment for a Tipped Pelvis: Does it seem you have one leg longer than the other? Or just feel a bit off balance? It's most likely an imbalance with the structure of our being: the hips! This treatment integrates CranioSacral, Polarity Therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupressure with intent to balance and ground our structure.

Polarity Tx to balance Sympathetic Nervous System: This system activates our "fight" or "flight" response, which in today's world can be out of balance a lot. Symptoms of pupil dilation, increased sweating, increased heart rate, and increased blood pressure indicate an imbalanced Sympathetic Nervous System. This method restores balance to this system.

*all Speciality Txs are considered Therapeutic in nature and vary in price depending on the time required for each treatment

Since graduating my practice has expanded to offer Core Synchronism, Trigger Point Therapy, Therapeutic Massage with warm bamboo, and cupping.

I first came into this field when I was diagnosed with melanoma in 2012. Using various therapies I was able to reduce my chronic pain and tension, mostly eliminating it after my training. My experiences produced a strong desire to apply natural therapeutics to every-day life and help others achieve wellness in their own way. There are an infinite number of ways to achieve wellness and I want to help you find the therapies that work best for you!

Esthetician:

My name is Jasmin Estes, and I am the Esthetician here at Gambei Wellness Spa. Soon after graduating High School, I enrolled in the Massage Therapy program at the Crystal Mountain Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After 6 years of working as a Massage Therapist, I decided it was not the perfect fit for me. I loved the Spa environment, and helping clients feel relaxed, but I felt like something was missing. When I found Esthetics, I knew right away that it was meant to be! I went on to graduate from the Esthetician Program at the Callas Beauty Institute in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Facials are a wonderful escape from our hectic everyday life. We use only the highest quality Organic products, helping you to reach your skincare goals using modern and earth-friendly methods. I pride myself on giving Facials that are an ultra-pampering and luxurious experience for my clients. Blending my knowledge of Massage and Holistic skincare techniques, you’ll receive a tranquil yet effective treatment that is as much a “treat” for you, as it is a benefit to your glowing complexion!
